Mumbai City FC striker Adam Le Fondre scored the winner for his side that helps them get their first win this season.

Adam Le Fondre scored a 95th minute penalty to win it late for Mumbai City FC against 10 men FC Goa. The Gaurs did well to hold on till the last few minutes before Mumbai City were awarded a penalty. FC Goa were reduced to 10 men in the first half when Redeem Tiang recklessly lunged into Hernan Santana, earning a straight red.

FC Goa completely nullified Mumbai City in the first half as they were not able to register a single shot on target. Mumbai City came out a different team in the second half, with 12 attempts on goal including 3 on target. Ultimately, Mumbai City capitalized on the chance they got in the 95th minute which puts them in 5th place whereas FC Goa lie 7th.
