Football Club Goa or simply FC Goa is an Indian professional football club based in Goa. The club was established on 26 August 2014.Nicknamed as The Gaurs, the club plays their home matches at the Fatorda Stadium in Margao. FC Goa is the first Indian club to qualify for the AFC Champions League.
Brazilian coach Zico was the club’s first manager (head coach). Its marquee players for its first two seasons have been French winger Robert Pires and Brazilian defender Lúcio respectively.
