In a game where both teams were looking for a win to really push for a top 4 spot, FC Goa came out on top with a 3-0 win over Jamshedpur FC. Jorge Ortiz opened the scoring for FC Goa in the 13 minute with a fine finish. Jamshedpur actually had a reasonable first half as they registered more shots on target than FC Goa and also created 2 big chances.
Goa started the second half as they would have liked, with a second goal of the evening from Ortiz. Jamshedpur’s Alex was given a yellow card for an argument. The Brazilian was later given a second yellow card and received his marching orders after a foul.
Ivan Garrido killed the game with a 3rd goal in the 89th minute.
FC Goa now go in 3rd place with 3 wins in 4 games whereas Jamshedpur remain 7th in the league table.
