ISL 2020: 2 goals from Aridane in a 3-2 win secure 3 points for Hyderabad FC against SC East Bengal

Aridane scored a brace for Hyderabad FC in a 3-2 win against SC East Bengal. Jacques Maghoma broke the deadlock by scoring SC East Bengal’s first goal in the Indian Super League this season. Hyderabad FC were awarded a penalty after a rash challenge from defender Sehnaj Singh. Aridane’s start to the evening wasn’t ideal as SC East Bengal goalkeeper Debjit Majumder saved the Spaniard’s penalty.

In the second half, Aridane made up for the penalty miss by scoring two goals in almost 2 minutes. Poor defending cost SC Bengal 2 goals. Halicharan Narzary scored what looked like the goal that put the game to bed in the 68th minute before Maghoma scored again, this time heading the ball into the net to give SC East Bengal a ray of hope. Unfortunately for East Bengal they could not find the equalizer which means they are yet to win a game this ISL season, sitting 11th in the league table.
