Werner, who made a high-profile move to Chelsea in the summer of 2020, has faced challenges in adapting to the English game. Despite showing glimpses of his prolific goal-scoring ability, he struggled to consistently find the back of the net during his time at Stamford Bridge. As a result, he was loaned back to RB Leipzig for the 2022-2023 season.
However, things haven’t gone as planned for the 27-year-old striker in Germany either. With a poor form and reduced playing time, Werner is reportedly open to a return to the Premier League for his career. Fulham and Crystal Palace are now emerging as potential destinations for the talented forward.
