A dominating performance from Inter Milan in the finals of the Supercopa Italiana against AC Milan got them their first trophy of the season. It was a total disappointing loss for AC Milan in the finals as they couldn’t even score a single goal in the game.

It took only 10 minutes for Inter Milan to take the lead in the finals against AC Milan. It was Dimarco who scored the first goal of the game. 11 minutes later that goal from Dimarco, Inter Milan’s striker Edin Dzeko doubled the lead for the visitors. Edin Dzeko finished it well in the penalty box and the ball went past AC Milan’s goalkeeper Tatarusanu.

AC Milan had more shots in the game also had more possession than Inter but that wasn’t the thing they needed to get their hands on trophy. The final goal of the game which sealed it off for Inter was scored by the World Cup winner Lautaro Martinez. Martinez also received a yellow card for removing his jersey in celebration of his goal.

The winner came in the 77th minute before Inter were named as The Supercopa Italiana champions (2022/23).
