Luckily for Madrid, they have indeed established a healthy lead over Sevilla at the top of LaLiga, with nine games left to play.
Barcelona had a poor starting to the season with the previous manager Ronald Koeman, but they have found their feet again under Xavi.
They’ve already won five straight games and are now in third place in the Liga, three points below Sevilla with a match in hand.
