However, the team was playing in the UEFA Champions League 2023-24 (this season), and also managar Maurizio Sarri made the team go to the round of 16 of the competition. But they couldn’t get over Bayern Munich and thus they had no other option but to move out of the league.
It was the Champions League’s defeat and also a poor performances in the league which lead them to think over a manager’s position. Igor Tudor who was a manager of Marseille is now set to manage Lazio as the agreement has been already reached. Fabrizio Romano has reported that the manager Igor Tudor will signing a deal with Lazio for the managerial position until June 2025. This will bring a new ray of hope for the Lazio fans. Documents have already been prepared and the deal announcement is just hours away.
