
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has signed for his former club AC Milan on a year long deal after the speculation about his future at the club.
The deal is said to be around 7 million euros which will see the 38-year old strikers spending a full season at San Siro next season, the Rossoneri’s finished 6th in the Serie A this season and will have Europa league campaign which starts from September 17.
“AC Milan is pleased to announce that it has reached an agreement for the contract renewal of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, extending the partnership with the Rossoneri Club until 30 June 2021,” the club said in a statement.
The Swedish striker scored 10 goals and provided 5 assists in 18 league appearances for the Italian club, the current form of Zlatan has seen him offered a extension deal with the club which lasts for season and will see him earn 7 million euros, the player was waiting for the deal to take place and agreement between both parties and will now resume training with the squad.
Milan have already have the likes of Suso, Pepe Reina, Lucas Biglia , Ricardo Rodriguez and Bonaventura depart the club, Zlatan too for his age was not sure of his future at the club and looked for a move to RB Leipzig until Milan made a U turn to sign the Swedish Striker for another season.
