Talking about this game, Manolo Marquez’s Hyderabad FC dominated the entire game but couldn’t find the winning goal which was important for them to compete with the top two teams. The host Chennaiyin FC scored the opening goal of this match in just 13 minutes. It was scored by an Indian defender named Mohammad Sajid Dhot. His beautiful header gets past Hyderbad’s goalkeeper and gave the host a 1-0 lead. But after that goal, Hyderabad FC played more sharply and was passing the ball really well. Just before the half-time whistle, the visitors found the equalizer. The equalizing goal was scored by striker Javier Siverio which made the score 1-1 at halftime.

The second half sees no goal. Hyderabad FC despite having 24 shots on Chennaiyin’s goal went back home with just a single point. Chennaiyin FC’s organized defence didn’t let them score and take 3 points from this game. However, there are still a lot of games to play and Hyderabad FC has a chance to go on top of the points table.
