Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has spoken out about the current situation at the club, stating that manager Antonio Conte should be more precise with his criticism. The Danish international expressed his dissatisfaction with the team’s recent performances and called for all 11 players to work together as a team on the pitch.
Conte’s tenure at Tottenham has been under scrutiny in recent weeks following a string of disappointing results. The Italian manager was brought in over the summer to revive the club’s fortunes, but so far, his tenure has failed to produce the desired results.
Hojbjerg, who has been a regular feature in the Spurs midfield this season, believes that Conte’s criticism of the team has not been specific enough. In an interview with the media, he said, “It’s easy to say that we need to improve, but it’s important that the manager is more precise with his criticism. We need to know exactly what we need to do better.”
Tottenham’s current form has left them languishing in fifth position in the Premier League, and Conte’s position at the club is reportedly under threat. The pressure is mounting on the Italian to turn things around quickly, and Hojbjerg’s comments are a clear indication that there is unrest in the Spurs camp.
