Ansu Fati’s father, Bori Fati, recently lashed out at FC Barcelona for the lack of game time the 20-year-old has received this season. According to Bori Fati, if the situation does not improve, the youngster will leave the club in the summer. As a result of his injury woes, Ansu Fati has had difficulty finding minutes this season. The forward has started a limited number of Catalan matches this season, despite appearing in most of them.
“Ansu does not want to leave Barcelona, but I want him to succeed. I won’t go to the stadium anymore. I’m furious at the club. In a month, we will meet Jorge Mendes, for sure. Bori Fati has criticized the decision by manager Xavi Hernandez to use Bori Fati infrequently. “I do not understand why Xavi does not play Ansu,” he said. He must have his reasons. Ansu is not disgusted with him, as Xavi was always his idol. But for me, I am furious as a father.”
