Harry Kane will be a part of Tottenham Hotspur for their opening match against Manchester City

Harry Kane returned to Tottenham’s training ground on Saturday he will quarantine and train alone until Thursday; Spurs will begin their Premier League campaign against Man City on Sunday.

Tottenham Head Coach Nuno Espirito Santo has confirmed that Harry Kane will be available for the club’s opening game against Manchester City.

Harry Kane, who has openly asked for a move to a new club, has returned to Hotspur, amid speculations on his future in the club. He is now quarantined at the Lodge, which is the club’s training ground hotel until Thursday of this week, since coming back from Florida last week.

Asked about Kane’s availability for the match, Nuno told Sky Sports: “All the players in the squad that work on a daily basis will be options for us.”

Nuno was supposed to hold, “socially distanced talks” with the player on Monday, who has denied that he ever refused to turn up for training and insisted that his return on Saturday was “planned”

The most persistent suitor for Kane has been Manchester City, who are willing to give a huge offer after buying Aston Villa talisman, Jack Grealish for a British record of £100 million. City boss Pep Guardiola has confirmed his interest in Kane, heightening the tension around the Premier League champions opening weekend visit to Spurs.

Harry Kane, at the end of last season, in an interview with Gary Neville, has openly said that he wanted to move from Tottenham but Daniel Levy, the chairman of the club, is unwilling to sell him to a local rival like City. The mystery around the gentlemen’s agreement between Levy and Kane and what it entails has also been under scrutiny.

Harry Kane, for now, remains a Tottenham player and will probably play the first match against the Champions Manchester City. It will probably remain a mystery what the future holds for him, in regards to this season
