Harry Kane moves past Wayne Rooney in scoring most goals for England

Harry Kane is now the top goal-scorer for England surpassing Wayne Rooney in the last game.

England played against Italy in their first game of the Euro 2024 qualifiers. The last season (Euro 2020) finalists were against each other, where the runner-ups took revenge on the defending champions. It was a proper game for England and their striker Harry Kane as well.

Harry Kane scored a goal in this game which not only helped England win against Italy in their first game of the Euro 2024 qualifiers. Harry Kane became the top goal-scorer for England surpassing Wayne Rooney who was in the name before him with 53 goals.

Harry scored his 54th in the game against Italy on Thursday night, 23rd March. The other scorer for England in the game was midfielder Declan Rice. Later in the 80th minute, Manchester United’s left-back Luke Shaw was also shown the red card in the game for making a bad challenge.
