Barcelona’s defender Gerard Pique has declared his retirement from the sport and that his final game will be this weekend’s La Liga match against Almeria.
In a video uploaded on social media, the defender declared that he will retire following Barcelona’s La Liga encounter against Almeria on Saturday. Pique has made the choice to terminate his trophy-laden career after making only three La Liga starts this season and falling out of favour at Camp Nou.
