Since 2013, the 32-year-old Welshman has been based at the Bernabeu. He possesses four Champions League titles and two La Liga crowns to his record. In later seasons, unfortunately, he has slipped out of pace, having barely 20 La Liga outings within the last full season. He signed Tottenham Hotspur on loan in 2020-21.

After entering Real Madrid in 2013, the 32-year-old has achieved 14 key titles, notably four Champions Leagues, 3 Club World Cups, and 2 La Liga trophies. Nonetheless, primarily in the late moments of his Madrid stint, he has established a harsh rapport with the fans, who have urged for his exit.

Bale’s destiny after leaving Real Madrid in the summertime has already been fiercely disputed. He has earlier been attributed to the prospect of retiring soon, but he is also considered to be motivated by the potential of defending Wales at the 2022 World Cup.

Bale has so far done a pivotal influence in driving Wales to Euro 2016, the country’s first international competition in 58 years, and Euro 2020, putting the country on the brink of a first World Cup since 1958. Wales has progressed to the finale of the World Cup qualification playoffs, whereas the verdict of the other semi-final is still awaited. Scotland was slated to encounter Ukraine, however, the match was postponed due mainly to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
