He saw his former colleagues at UCLA during their training session as Los Blancos is currently on a preseason tour of the country. Bale entered the complex through a back entrance wearing casual clothing, and as soon as he stepped onto the UCLA campus grass, his former comrades recognised him. He caught up with the Real Madrid players, especially Luka Modric, David Alaba, and Eden Hazard. During his stay in Spain, he was most close to the latter player.
