The French star midfielder Paul Pogba, who plays for the Premier League club Manchester United will remain at the club this summer amid interest from Paris Saint-Germain and other big European clubs.
Pogba’s new contract is the major concern for the Red Devils (Manchester United) as well as their manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. However, he was confident this whole summer that even if Pogba doesn’t sign a new contract with the club, he will stay at the club for the 2021-2022 season. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in his pre-match press conference on Saturday said he is expecting Paul Pogba to stay at the club, he wants to see him in the club after the summer transfer window closes.
“Yes, I expect Paul to be here when the first of September comes,” the United boss told to reporters in MUTV in the pre-match press conference.
Italian football transfers expert, Fabrizio Romano tweeted after Ole’s press conference that Paul Pogba is going nowhere this summer leaving his club, Man United. Fabrizio also mentioned the word ‘confirmed’ in his tweet.

The 28-year-old World Cup winner hasn’t signed the contract extension with Man United. Fabrizio also reported that Manchester United did give him a new contract offer earlier this summer but he rejected the offer and is ready to listen to the offers from the other clubs. However, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer thinks that Paul is happy and enjoying playing in United and will sign the contract before its expiry.
“Paul is enjoying his football and I’ve said many times, my job is to make sure we’re getting the best out of Paul and Bruno (Fernandes) and all the very good players we’ve got within a team structure,” Solskjaer added.
