Italian football transfers expert Fabrizio Romano reported on Monday night that French striker Anthony Martial will leave Manchester United to join the La Liga side Sevilla FC on loan until the end of this season (2021/22). Since the start of this season, it seemed that the French forward is not happy in England as he wasn’t getting enough chances to play. As Manchester United brought their legend, Cristiano Ronaldo, back this season, it was always looking difficult for Martial to be in the team. According to some rumors, he wanted to leave Man United in this January transfer window as he wishes to have more game time.
Manchester United’s interim manager Ralf Rangnick told earlier this month in a pre-match talk in Star Sports Network that the French forward doesn’t want to be in the squad but Martial denied that by putting a story on Instagram which created a lot of things and the fans felt that the Manager is not happy with Martial. But, the French striker was included in their last matchday squad by Ralf Rangnick against West Ham. He was not only on the bench, but he did also come in the second half and made an immediate impact on the game as his beautiful pass to Edinson Cavani led to the first and the last goal.
Martial claimed on his Instagram story that he was not happy in the Premier League side but he will never deny playing for them because he loves the club and wanted to show what it means to him. However, Martial is leaving but it is not a permanent deal. He will be on loan at Sevilla till the end of this season and then will be back in England as reported by Fabrizio Romano.
