Fred likes his role and is excited to play for Rangnick

Fred Rodriguez excited to play under Ralf Rangnick and backs Rashford against the dressing room rumours.

Fred Rodriguez is back at Old Trafford after the international and covid break. He’s had a fair journey in the club since 2018 but has received criticisms from the reds. But Ralf Rangnick remains a true fan of the Brazilian saying, He’s a sunshine!

He has remained one of the best performers under Rangnick with a win rate of 59 per cent with him in the side this season compared to just 25 per cent without him. Fred is still positive about the Champions League and Premier League position at the table and believes they are still in a shout for the win if everyone puts their best performances upfront.

Fred also addressed the dressing room rumours and backed Rashford with the same opinion as fake news and that the squad is as united as ever. He tries to light up the atmosphere in the dressing room as some players may get frustrated with the games and stated that they have all understood the depth of the squad and have formed a newfound harmony amongst each other. He says his priority right now is to perform efficiently and help the team as much as possible.

The Brazilian admits that Ragnick has a different approach to the tactics in comparison to Ole Solskjaer and that Ralf is aware of the energy and quality he has.

In a recent interview as Sky Sports reports, he said, “Thank God I got through it,” as Manchester United had to put up with tough losses despite good performances from the squad.

Fred also had to put a stop to the rumours about him leaving the club as he is 100% committed to the club and that he has no intention of leaving it. He has a full desire to stay back and provide the club with his best performances.
