As Manchester United has struggled for a top-four finish in the Premier League, the board is looking out for permanent head coach options as Erik ten Hag, Mauricio Pochettino, Julen Lopetegui and Luis Enrique has been considered leading with the likes of the club. Despite Ralf Rangnick’s awaited debut at Old Trafford along with the return of the prodigal son, the club has gone through a few ups and downs under his presence.
While Ralf was appointed on a temporary consultancy role, the club has recently shown interest in acquiring PSG coach, Mauricio Pochettino or the dutch professional, Erik ten Hag to smoothen United’s rough edges for a permanent role.
The interim position is retired on the 1st of June and as a reason of which no meeting has been carried on for Ralf’s replacement, however, United is in dire need to hire someone with the skills and mastery of the German on a permanent role as the club is about to miss the next season of the Champions League fixtures because of the top four struggle at the English side.
The squad is also yet to fully discover Ralf’s contributions as the Red Devils worry over consistency in their performances which varies from managing the squad individually according to their calibre to the dressing room rumours. Elsewhere, Pochettino is also considering his role at PSG as the french giants struggle for a comeback without Messi and a Real Madrid transfer of the star kid. His future is being reconsidered at United along with Ten Hag to make Old Trafford a fortress again.
