Former France defender Jean Pierre-Adams passes away at 73 after 39 years in coma

Jean Pierre Adams was suffering from coma for the last 39 years as he sadly passed away this afternoon.

On Monday afternoon, the international French defender Jean Pierre Adams passed away at the age of 73, leaving the football world in shock as fans were very sad and disappointed with this news coming out all over. Pierre Adams was seen spending 39 years in a coma after he had undergone a knee operation at Lyon Hospital, France.

The operation didn’t go successfully as there was an anaesthesia error during the entire operation. He was suffering a knee injury since 1982, aged 34 with a knee operation to be done immediately by the doctors in Lyon. It is now confirmed that he passed away at Nimes University Hospital sadly.

Pierre Adams, in the year 1982, was administered a near-fatal dose after there was an anaesthetic error during his knee operation which leads to suffering a lot of pain and anxiety, as he spends 34 years in a coma.

He was born in 1948 in Senegal. French Newspaper L’Equipe confirmed the news that he lost his fight after a critical operation that took place 33 years back ago.

Adams played as a centre back for Nimes, OGC Nice and PSG as well. He also earned 22 appearances for the France International team, before he was forced to do some minor surgeries for safety concerns.

In his old days, he was proved to be a good defender for France. He was suffering from a coma as his condition hadn’t changed for better or worse since then until the news that he had finally succumbed and passed away.
