
The former Bengaluru Football Club coach Carles Cuadrat feels the standard of Indian football is improving but cannot pretend it is growing fast. After a tough season with the club, Cuadrat decided to part his ways.
The Spanish coach has spent quite a time with India football and has witnessed their growth. He has led Bengaluru FC ISL title and other domestic titles. In his time at the club, he has overseen the growth of several Indian footballer’s that have gone to play for the India National team.
After ISL began in India, the standard of Indian football is improving. ISL is putting a lot of effort to have a nice show, a nice product by bringing new coaches, bringing good foreign players, bringing some good things for the game but at the same time, we cannot pretend we are growing fast because the truth is not all the players are ready for that kind of game.
