Five or six players should never play for Manchester United again: Roy Keane on disappointing loss

Roy Keane expresses his frustration over Derby loss of 4-1 of the Red Devils to Manchester City.

City sealed title contender points over Liverpool in the match against Manchester United on Sunday, with De Bruyne and Mahrez scoring double for the club. Sancho opened the scoresheet for the Red Devils but the substitution for the squad after halftime came in vain as City took control of the ball throughout the game and even more after halftime following the poor replacement of the Reds.

The Reds didn’t have a single shot in the second half whereas, after the 65th minute, City created six chances with about 93% possession rate at the end of the game. The football pundits shared the frustration on SkySports including Roy Keane, making headlines for his comment, saying, ‘five or six players should never play for Manchester United again’ along with Gary Neville who admitted that the squad was an absolute disgrace in the last 25 minutes.

Critics were soon to spot the number of disappearances in the squad which included both Cristiano Ronaldo and Cavani who were out because of injuries. But the dressing room rumours were enough to admit the squad’s disappointment in learning Ronaldo’s intentional absence over Ralf’s selection of the squad, which did not include Ronaldo. Adding to the shambles the club already is, Marcus Rashford, the promising English striker for the club, is also looking out for his future elsewhere as he is concerned about the lack of playing time offered at the club by the coach Ralf Rangnick.

“They’re so far behind the other teams. It was men vs boys as the old saying goes. They gave up and shame on them”, said the former Irish professional player, who along with Micah Richards, commented on the poor defeat witnessed by the United squad.
