  1. Marcelo Bielsa (Leeds United)
  2. Hans-Dieter Flick (Bayern Munich)
  3. Jurgen Klopp (Liverpool)
  4. Julen Lopetegui (Sevilla)
  5. Zinedine Zidane (Real Madrid)

Jurgen Klopp and Hans-Dieter Flick look to be the frontrunners to win the award. Klopp won the 2019/20 Premier League with Liverpool in convincing fashion, finishing with 99 points.

On the other hand, when ex- Bayern Munich boss Niko Kovač left Bayern by mutual consent on 3 November 2019, Flick was promoted to the interim manager position. Flick managed to win the Bundesliga and the UEFA Champions League for Bayern Munich after 7 years whilst also beating the likes of Chelsea, Barcelona, Lyon and PSG in the competition.

Marcelo Bielsa helped Leeds United get promoted to the Premier League after 16 years. Bielsa has been praised for the way he has got Leeds playing. Fearless, fast flowing, high tempo football- no matter who they come up against. Leeds United currently sit 14th in the Premier League table.

Zinedine Zidane and Lopetegui have been nominated for the award for winning the La Liga and the Europa League respectively.
