Finishing outside the top three won’t be acceptable, says Cristiano Ronaldo

Manchester United’s Cristiano Ronaldo said that finishing outside the top three is unacceptable as Ralf Rangnick is struggling to turn his under-performing team.

Forward Football player Cristiano Ronaldo said that Manchester United should finish in the top three in the English Premier League. Finishing outside the top three in EPL will not be acceptable for Manchester United as Ralf Rangnick is finding it hard to turn around his under-performing team. Ralf Rangnick has now taken charge of the club from sacked Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Manchester United is struggling at seventh place, while Manchester City is 22 points ahead of them sustaining at No.1.

Cristiano Ronaldo in the dressing room was discussing United’s poor form that led to a defeat of 1-0 by the Wolves on January 3. “Manchester United must win the league or come second or third, I don’t see any other position for Manchester United,” said Cristiano Ronaldo to Sky Sports. The Portuguese forward believes that the team can perform better and is not here to finish at the sixth or the seventh position. Changing the team’s mindset will help in achieving big things.

After Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was sacked in November having a chain of big defeats, Ragnick has come in charge until the end of the season. Despite Ragnick winning four of his seven games in charge of all competitions, the team still faced criticisms and reports distress has been found within the team.
