The FIFA World Cup 2022 is in its last stages as only three games are pending to play. The semifinals will begin today with a blockbuster match between Argentina and Croatia. Both club and countries’ rival Luka Modric and Lionel Messi will be up against each other in the semifinals.
Both teams couldn’t win their first game of the tournament but still managed to reach here in the semifinals. Argentina lost their first game against Saudi Arabia and whereas Croatia was held on to a 0-0 draw by Morocco. Croatia hasn’t lost a single game in the tournament so far and it will be interesting to see whether they maintain their unbeaten record or get knocked out by Lionel Messi’s Argentina.
The second semi-final is between France and Morocco. Another underdog has made it to the Semifinals of the competition. Morocco is been one of the teams to watch in this year’s World Cup. Morocco defeated Belgium, Spain, and Portugal to secure their place in the semifinals. Defending champions France is also in good form but could this lead them to the finals of the competition again?
