The FIFA World Cup final game will be played between Argentina and France today at 8:30 PM (IST). Ahead of this finals, France has some bad news as some of their regular players are unlikely to start in the game against Argentina today. The news was circulated that some of the French defenders namely Raphael Varane, Ibrahima Konate, and Theo Hernandez all got ill ahead of the finals.
Because of this, the players weren’t seen in training for France. However, they started training a day before the game i.e. on Saturday, 17th December.
Now, the reports from Qatar are that the French forward Olivier Giroud has sustained an injury and is unlikely to start playing XI for France in the FIFA World Cup 2022 finals.
Olivier Giroud sustained a knee knock in training and went out straight after that. French fans hope to see him (Olivier Giroud) on the pitch today. However, the France national football team hasn’t posted anything about this lately.
The AC Milan striker has 4 goals in FIFA World Cup 2022 so far and is one of the important players for France after their striker Benzema got injured ahead of the tournament.
