The All India Football Federation (AIFF) was suspended on August 16 due to ‘third party’ interference, according to FIFA. Despite the unrest inside the Indian Football Organization (AIFF), there was hope that the International Football Federation (FIFA) would soon withdraw the ban on India, paving the way for the country to host the Under-17 Women’s World Cup, which is set to begin on October 11.
