FC Goa defender Sanson Pereira extends his contract with the club for three years until 2024

FC Goa defender Sanson Pereira has signed a contract extension with the club that will keep him at the Indian Super League side for three more years until the summer of 2024.

Defender Sanson Pereira is the third player who has expanded his journey with the Indian Super League side FC Goa for three more years by agreeing to a contract extension that will keep him at the club until the summer of 2024.

Sanson has appeared for 10 games for the Gaurs in Orange over the season. He is the only player who clenches the significance of being a starter in all six matches of the club’s maiden trip into the continental tournament of the AFC Champions League. The defender has been immense and played a vital part where he defended his side climax third on the Group A of the AFC Champions League table.

“I have grown a lot in only a season with this club, both on and off the pitch. Playing with some of the best players in the country and working under a tremendous coach in Juan Ferrando has helped me to find a new dimension within me,” said Sanson.

“There is certainly more that I feel I can do here at FC Goa to help the team. I will look to make a bigger impact on the team I left-backing years to help the side achieve its side,” added the left-back.

Juan Ferrando also conveyed happiness at the agreement expansion and said that Sanson has certainly impressed him in the first season with the club.
