Everton set to sign Jesper Lindstrom from Napoli on loan with option to buy

Everton is close to finalizing a deal for Napoli winger Jesper Lindstrom. The clubs are set to exchange documents today, with a loan agreement including an option to buy for around €22.5 million to €23 million. The 24-year-old Danish international is expected to undergo a medical later this week.

Lindstrom joined Napoli from Eintracht Frankfurt last year but struggled to secure regular playing time, making only two starts in Serie A. However, he had a successful stint in Germany, scoring 14 goals in 80 appearances and helping Frankfurt win the Europa League in 2022.

Everton has been actively seeking attacking reinforcements this summer, following departures and loan expirations. Lindstrom will join recent signings Jack Harrison, Iliman Ndiaye, and Tim Iroegbunam, adding depth to the team’s flanks.

The Merseyside club is also interested in Leeds United’s Wilfried Gnonto, aiming to strengthen their squad further before the transfer window closes.
