European clubs eye Dani Olmo amid transfer uncertainty

Several top European clubs are reportedly interested in signing Dani Olmo this summer. Among those keen on the Euro 2024 winner is Bayern Munich, the German champions. Despite Olmo’s desire to leave RB Leipzig, no official offers have been made yet.

According to Sky Germany, Olmo’s injury history is a concern for potential buyers. Although his €60 million release clause has expired, Leipzig still expects a similar fee for his transfer. This would mean a total cost exceeding €100 million when considering the signing-on fee and annual salary.

While Olmo is a world-class talent, his injury record combined with the high cost might make a transfer away from Leipzig less likely this summer.
