
France had their second game of the Euro 2024 qualifiers against Ireland on Monday night, 27th March. French national football team defeated the Irish side by 1-0. Despite it was a close victory, France played very well in the game. They started dominating the minute referee blew the first whistle. It was an another good game for Mbappe’s side.
The captain couldn’t name himself on the scoresheet this time but a defender get the job done for the team. France created so many chances in the game but could only beat the Irish goalkeepeer once.
French right-back Benjamin Pavard scored a beautiful goal in the second half to secure the victory for the visitors. The Irish team were struggling and they never seemed dangerous in the game. It was an easy victory for France as they won their second game of the Euro 2024 qualifiers after defeating Netherlands in the first one.
