Cristiano Ronaldo has already been cautioned that he would be handled just like any other Man Utd player, as per ERIK TEN HAG. With Manchester United, Erik ten Hag is confident that he may be capable of handling players like Cristiano Ronaldo. Ronaldo has been reminded by the future Red Devils boss that he, like any other player, would not be treated any differently.

On Thursday, United revealed that Ten Hag will take over as the club’s permanent coach at the end of the regular season. The Dutchman will depart Ajax to acquire Manchester United as a successor for Ralf Rangnick. Ronaldo’s two-year deal, which he inked when he rejoined to United last summer, is now nearly up. The Portugal ace would become Ten Hag’s most high-profile player in his managerial career nearly immediately.

A few have queried if Ten Hag’s lack of familiarity with prominent European teams will be a barrier to his progress at United. However, during his first talk after being appointed United’s top coach, he claims he is up to the challenge.

Ten Hag was if he could cope effectively with giants., to which he made it very clear in his answer that no player would be able to defy his beliefs. Ten Hag told Trouw “I will stay myself in that. I won’t change my vision. I will tell them [big players] their task and whoever does not meet those tasks will hear that from me, no matter who it is”.

This season, Ronaldo has netted the highest goals for Manchester United in all categories. No other individual in the club has produced more than 21 goals than the 37-year-old.
