Erik ten Hag gives no update on the return of Jadon Sancho

Manchester United’s manager Erik ten Hag didn’t give any update on English forward Jadon Sancho. The forward wasn’t in Manchester United’s squad for their Carabao Cup tie against Burnley FC on Wednesday night.

Manchester United played their first game after the FIFA World Cup 2022 and it was their home game in the EFL Cup against Burnley. The Red Devils won by 2-0 and booked their place in the quarter-finals of the competition.

After the game, Manchester United’s manager, Erik ten Hag was asked about Jadon Sancho’s return, but he refused to answer.

“Do you have any update on Sancho and when he’s coming back?”.

Erik ten Hag: “No.” The question was asked by a reporter Erik and he refused to answer just by saying, “No” as reported by football journalist Fabrizio Romano via his official Twitter handle.

Manchester United is now through to the last 8 of the EFL Cup but fans want to know about Jadon Sancho as well as he didn’t go to Qatar for World Cup and was training alone.

Jadon Sancho was reportedly himself told the manager that he needs to be physically and mentally fit before playing for Manchester United again and thus was training alone during the World Cup.
