Premier League: The Premier League Champions Liverpool strengthen their defence by signing Ozan Kaba from Schalke and Ben Davies from Preston. However, the Champions have also loaned Japanese attacking midfielder Takumi Minamino left for Southampton until the end of the season. All this took place just before the transfer window closed on Monday.
The Reds have been missing their experienced central defenders including Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip, which forced them to sign some new players to bolster the defence.
Japanese international Minamino move was a startling one however, the Saints had everything planned and submitted the required paperwork in time.
