Chelsea FC faced a disappointing 1-1 draw against Brighton & Hove Albion FC on Tuesday night in the English Premier League. Graham Potter’s men were brilliant against a good attacking team (Chelsea) as they continue with their great run of form in this season’s Premier League. Thomas Tuchel’s side lost two crucial points again which would see them in the top 2 of the Premier League 2021/22 points table. They had missed the chance to go above Liverpool who is in second place, having 45 points and a game in hand.
Chelsea FC’s players were looking bright in the first 45 minutes but they gave away their one-nil lead in the second half which cost them 2 points and also the top 2 position. Chelsea’s midfielder Hakim Ziyech scored the opening goal of the game in the 28th minute. It was a great finish by the 28-year-old after playing a great one-two with Ngolo Kante. The visitors take the lead against Graham Potter’s men and the way Chelsea was playing it always seemed that this goal was coming.

The second half wasn’t good for Thomas Tuchel as they conceded a goal in the 60th minute of the game. It was an amazing heading goal by Brighton’s defender named Adam Webster who levels it up for the host. Though only two goals were scored in the match it was exciting to watch these two teams play as they both kept on attacking each other’s goal. Well, It is hard to say that who was unlucky to get only a single point in this game as Graham Potter’s men were exceptional against the Champions League winners of 2020/21 (Chelsea). The game could have gone either way but it was all balanced at the end and the teams had no option but to share the points.
