
The electrifying match of Manchester United against Leeds United was one for a watch. Despite the rainy weather, the professionals set it up against all odds and slippery turf to put in a six points thriller.
United took the lead with Harry Maguire opening the scoresheet at the 34th minute and Bruno Fernandes followed at the 45th minute right before halftime. The match stood at 2-0 with both teams drenched at the Road.
The match picked up after Rodrigo Moreno and Rapinha scored back to back after halftime with a difference of a minute and sent Elland road into shrieks of joy. Jesse Lingard didn’t seem to make a difference on the ground and was substituted for Fred Rodriguez who came on a scored at the 70th minute marking the lead.
The match then picked up with both teams trying to bring it home but Anthony Elanga, who had the most tackles against Leeds (three), finally puts it in across and called the reds to victory away from home.

Jadon Sancho put up a terrific performance with 21 final third passes, 8 touches in the opposition box,3 successful take-ons, 3 chances created and 2 assists along with Fred Rodriguez, whose first game under new coach, Ralf Rangnick saw a perfect start after the substitution to a goal with 100% dribbles completed and 77% pass accuracy.
The two old rivals put up a spectacle with fans booing and throwing missiles at the reds amidst the unpredictable weather. Leeds are however five points away from relegation and the defeat has put Bielsa under a lot of pressure, especially with their next matchup against Liverpool, who are in the title race this season.
