Eight Player including five staff members of Tottenham has found covid-19 positive after getting tested Manager Antonio Conte said on Wednesday. A day before their match against Rennes, the French team in the Europa Conference League Conte said in a news conference, that they are having people with coronavirus positive. He also told that he has 11 players available at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the game.

According to the state of UEFA rules, a game must be continued as long as the club has a minimum of thirteen senior players and at least one goalkeeper available in the team.

Manager Antonio Conte also stated that everyone at the club is quite scared of the situation. As they come in contact with others, who at that moment tested as negative but tested the viruses positive later on.

Tottenham has asked to postpone the match on Sunday, which they were being fought against Brighton in Premier League. Which has been reported in the British media but did not confirm at the news conference by Antonio Conte.
