Several Manchester United players who took part in their last home game of the season said their goodbyes to the fans at the Old Trafford yesterday night. Edinson Cavani, Nemanja Matic and Juan Mata are all set to leave the club in the summer. The Uruguayan striker came off the bench to say his goodbyes to the supporters before departing at the end of the season. More players are expected to join them on their way out, including Phil Jones and Jesse Lingard, as well as Paul Pogba.
However, Cavani encountered a young fan in the Old Trafford parking lot after the match last night, and the young girl pleaded with him not to leave. The following video (posted by Alison Bender) went viral on social media this morning:

Cavani is asked to remain longer by a young admirer, but it is highly doubtful that will happen. And, perhaps more crucially, new manager Erik ten Hag might have other ideas for the team’s future.
Cavani demonstrated his class by taking a break with the fan, even though he was preoccupied with his own baby. He continued to spend time with her, posing for photos and hugging her.
