Every Russian club and the Russian national team will be banned from FIFA 22. EA has stated that the Russian national football team, as well as all Russian clubs, would be stripped from FIFA 22, FIFA Mobile, and FIFA Online.
The announcement came only days just after real-life FIFA and UEFA regulatory bodies announced that Russia’s national team and players will be suspended until further notice. Due to Russia’s escalating invasion of Ukraine, FIFA has “initiated processes” to remove the teams, as per a statement made on its official Twitter account.
“EA Sports stands in solidarity with the Ukrainian people and like so many voices across the world of football, calls for peace and an end to the invasion of Ukraine,” the statement goes.

Another announcement was released on the main NHL 22 account, claiming that Russian and Belarusian teams would be excluded. They will be removing all Russian and Belarusian national and club teams from NHL 22 within the coming weeks, following the IIHF’s ban of all Russian and Belarusian national and club teams from IIHF events.
Several sporting authorities have barred Russian sportsmen from competing, or have relocated matches and tournaments to other countries. National teams and sides have also declined to compete against Russia till further notice, mainly in Europe.
This week, UEFA and FIFA suspended Russian teams from across all international football after relocating the Champions League final from Saint Petersburg, Russia.
