Donny Van de Beek has been left out by Manchester United in their Champions League squad of 2023/24.

Donny Van de Beek finds himself excluded from Manchester United’s Champions League squad for the 2023/24 season. This decision was a bit shocking as the Dutch midfielder had been widely expected to make a fresh start elsewhere after a challenging time at Old Trafford.

Van de Beek’s time at Manchester United has been far from ideal since his arrival in 2020 from Ajax. Initially hailed as one of the most promising midfield talents in Europe, he struggled to secure a regular place in the starting lineup under the manager Erik ten Hag.
