The goal show was started with Deshorn Brown’s superb goal after Imran Khan gave the ball to the 31-years old striker who made no mistake to put his team in lead in the 29th minute. However, league leaders (Mumbai City FC) were never behind in this game and they scored an equalizer in no time. Igor Angulo was the one who opened the scoring for the visitors in the 33rd minute. Des Buckingham’s men didn’t take much time for their second goal either as they were on the lead in very quick succession after forward player Bipin Singh scored the second goal for them.

Mumbai City FC was leading in halftime by 2-1. Buckingham’s men started the second half with some energy and 7 minutes later they found their third goal as well which was again scored by the striker Igor Angulo. NorthEast was way behind the visitors in this game especially after that third goal from Mumbai City. But, Khalid Jamil’s men never gave up and started making attempts on Mumbai’s goal.
