Demarai Gray’s regulation time strike helps Everton grab a victory against the Gunners

Mikel Arteta Arsenal lost two in two now. Rafa Benitez men managed to get the victory in the regulation time when Demarai Gray pulls out a strike which passed Arsenal’s goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale.

Rafa Benitez’s Everton was without a win since 8 games before they play against the Gunners on Monday night. Mikel Arteta’s men travelled to Goodison park after their defeat against Manchester United in the mid-week earlier. The Gunners have lost two games back to back which again questions the Arteta’s tactics. But the Arsenal board seems comfortable on the manager thing even after these consecutive defeats. This was not the first time that Arsenal conceded a late goal, they also did the same thing against Manchester United when they were at Old Trafford last Thursday when midfielder Martin Odegaard gave away the penalty after a poor challenge on Fred.

However, Martin Odegaard was the one who open the scoring in the game for Arsenal. They scored the first goal and still ended up in the losing side. The Gunners seemed comfortable on the ball as most of the time they were in possession. Just before the half-time, left-back Kieran Tierney pulled a sweet cross to Odegaard and his great volley helped Arsenal take a lead against Everton.

The second half started and it was one of the best for Everton as they pulled out two goals to defeat the Arteta’s men. Brazilian forward Richarlison scored the Equalizing goal for Everton in the 79th minute. Then, in the 90+2  minute, Demarai Gray who hasn’t had the best first half of the season, eases through the Arsenal’s new signing Takehiro Tomiyasu and scored a stunning goal with his right foot which gets past English goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale.
