Crystal Palace eye Ismaïla Sarr; Marseille rejects initial proposal

Crystal Palace are in discussions to sign Ismaïla Sarr from Olympique Marseille. Initial talks have been held, but Marseille has rejected Crystal Palace’s opening offer. Negotiations are ongoing as Palace aims to secure the 26-year-old winger, who is eager to return to the Premier League.

Sarr, a Senegal international, joined Marseille from Watford last summer. In his debut season with the Ligue 1 club, he scored four goals in 35 appearances across all competitions. With Roberto De Zerbi now head coach, Marseille is expected to part with several players, making Sarr a potential candidate for departure. A new proposal from Crystal Palace will be needed to finalize the deal.
