Cristiano Ronaldo gets ‘The Best FIFA Special Award’

Cristiano has been awarded The Best FIFA Special Award at the FIFA award ceremony in Zurich.

The greatest footballer of all time Cristiano Ronaldo has been awarded ‘The Best FIFA Special Award’ in Zurich for becoming the all-time leading goal scorer at the international level.

Having scored 115 goals for his international team Portugal, Ronaldo has set a new record, beating the previous record of Ali Daei’s 109 goals.

Ronaldo after winning quoted that he is thankful to all the players he shared the field with, especially with the national team for which he played and contributed for 20 years. He also revealed that he was amused to beat the all-time leading goal scorer record. He also quoted that his family has been supportive and reminds his fan that he is going to be a father again. He seems to be really proud of this achievement of receiving “The Best FIFA Special Award”

“It’s a dream. First of all, I have to say thank you to my teammates, especially in the national team during the last 20 years that I used to play with. I never thought of beating that record,” Ronaldo found saying at FIFA’s live stream on their YouTube channel.

At the age of 36, Cristiano is still sensationally performing for his team Manchester United. He seems to be motivated with the goals and trophies he receives. Soon to be 37, Ronaldo maintains his goal-scoring performance and reveals the reason behind it. He quotes that the passion inside him makes him play, just like he used to play when he was 18.
