Despite Portugal’s early elimination, Cristiano Ronaldo managed to win the Golden Boot and persisted at the forum of the goal-scoring salvage.

France’s Karim Benzema has seized four goals in 349 minutes at the Euro 2020 competition ending at third place tying with three other players namely Sweden’s Emil Forsberg in 371 minutes, Belgium’s Romelu Lukaku in 444 minutes and Harry Kane of England in 529 minutes.
Three out of five goals from Ronaldo succeeded from the penalty spot opening his account at the Euro 2020 with two late goals in the 3-0 win against opponent Hungary.
