
Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel on Sunday had officially ruled out the American speedster Christian Pulisic against Tottenham Hotspur following an ankle injury in the 4-1 win over Honduras during the international friendly break given. Pulisic was seen limping during the game as it provides a big blow to Chelsea FC as well as their fans hoping for a speedy recovery. However, Tuchel provided some happy news that the American star is back in training and his road to recovery to come back being fully fit to start the games. There was a sense of hope and joy for the fans to celebrate despite the side topping the table alongside Liverpool currently.
Thomas Tuchel in his post-match press conference revealed about Pulisic that: “He’s not training so far but let’s see tomorrow. Maybe if he had a good progression today, it’s possible. It would be super nice for us to have him but for me, it’s a bit doubtful,”
N’Golo Kante, the French superstar played and provided a crucial goal when he scored from a long distance only to get deflected by Eric Dier putting Chelsea 2-0 ahead despite them finishing 3-0 at the end of the second half. Chelsea seals all three points and is now level with Liverpool at the top of the Premier league table.
Chelsea FC will now meet Aston Villa in the third round of the league club on Wednesday and later face the defending champions Manchester City on Sunday, in what will prove to be the match of the season with an eye-watering performance for the fans to witness. Chelsea will now look forward to making it five wins in a row against Manchester City.
