Conor Gallagher’s admission to Chelsea most likely, says the Blues’ coach

The admission of the Crystal Palace midfielder back at Cobham amidst his stellar display of performance with the Eagles.

Ever since the Englishman debuted for the English football team in the World Cup qualifiers, there has been serious transfer rumours surrounding his stay at Crystal Palace. Chelsea coach, Thomas Tuchel has been clear about the 22 yeard old’s journey back to the Bridge from a loan spell at Crystal Palace as he had impressive stats of five assists and seven goals. The young star is set to have a long term agreement at Cobham because of his stand-out performance but no serious talks have been held over the season.

As the Chelsea boss is in praise of the Englishman, he will have to put up an exemplary performance to break out to the first squad at Chelsea, which, given the current competition in the club within the squad, is both a massive opportunity and a threat to the remaining midfielders. As there are a lot of transfer rumours surrounding Bridge at this point, the selection of Declan Rice and other prominent midfielders are also a key consideration to the club as most of them would suffice as a long term substitution for the Frenchman, N’golo Kante.

Gallagher is at the moment, the most influential midfielder for Crystal Palace and has been a very flexible player with respect to the different systems he has been placed in. He has an incredible ability as a box-to-box player and has stood out in the feeble team during the period of the loan, impressing Tuchel as a reason of which, Gallagher could be seen with the Chelsea Squad to make more numbers.
