English Premier League’s club Chelsea FC have signed a new right-back in this January transfer window. The French right-back Malo Gusto has joined Chelsea FC for a reported fee of €30 million plus add-ons. This is Chelsea’s sixth signing of the summer. However the defender won’t be joining the side this transfer window as he will join the club in June 2023 along with Nkunku.
As their right-back Reece James has been injured and will be out for some months now, so they wanted a new right back and had an eye on the Lyon’s right-back for long. English defender Reece James was injured before the World Cup and then made a comeback after the competition, but got injured again.
Chelsea have made so many signings this summer and still they are in the mid-table. They are in the poor form this season and thus trying to fill some players to get back into winning ways.
“Malo Gusto to Chelsea, here we go! Medical tests have been scheduled tomorrow in order to seal the deal — he’s joining in June 2023 alongside Nkunku,” tweeted Fabrizio Romano.
